What is permanent jewelry?


Also referred to as infinity jewelry, endless chain, zapped jewelry, or welded bracelets,
permanent jewelry honors any commitment to a loved one or yourself. Permanent jewelry is an endless loop of chain with no clasp meant to be worn 24/7.

How does it work?


We offer a variety of 14K Gold and Sterling Silver chains for you to choose from.
 Once we customize the chain length to fit your wrist, neck, or ankle, we then connect the two ends with a tiny jump ring and weld it closed. This means there is no clasp. Choose from our selection of artist made charms to further personalize your jewelry. If at any point you decide you no longer wish to wear the bracelet, it can be easily clipped off.

How long does it take? 


Each session is 20 - 30 minutes long per person. If you are interested in hosting a private event for a group of 5 or more,

What happens if my bracelet breaks or stretches?


If your bracelet breaks or stretches we can repair it for a small fee. If it is broken or stretched beyond repair,
you will need to purchase a new bracelet.


What if I have to remove my bracelet?


If at any point you have to remove your jewelry for any reason (MRI, surgery, sports), it can be clipped off with scissors or clippers. We can always weld it back on for a small fee if the majority of the chain is still intact.

Will I get “zapped”?


We use a high quality welding machine and an experienced jeweler to perform the service.
Unlike soldering, there is no flame, just a teeny-tiny spark. Eye and skin protection is provided for your comfort.

Is there an age requirement?


This procedure is safe for anyone 16 and older. We don’t allow children to get permanent jewelry since they are still growing! A signed waiver is required for all participants. Anyone under the age of 18 requires a waiver signed by a parent, and the parent must be present for the entire process. 

Can I upcycle a broken chain to make a bracelet?

Yes! We can connect your chain with a small jump ring depending on the style of chain. The chain links must be large enough to put a jump ring through. We can only weld sterling silver or solid 14K gold chains.

When can I get permanent jewelry? 

We offer walk-in and scheduled appointments during our regular scheduled hours. If you are interested in booking an appointment at a different time or for a small group, please email office@ombregallery.com
